We met at Blue Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, May 25 at 5am and gathered together to ask the Lord what He might reveal to each of us throughout the day.

 Of the 16 high-school students and 6 parents who traveled to Paradise ‘08 in LaCygne, KS, we had a great experience worshipping and praising our God and King, Jesus Christ.  Our team spent time—along with 2,000 other  Believers in Christ—with the Lord in prayer and in the Word.  We sang over 6 hours of praise and worship music in the middle of the field.  The stage had no performers or singers.  No well-known named preachers or teachers.  Everyone who could have been on the stage to read the Word or sing was hidden behind the wall as seen in one of the pictures.  Just thousands of Believers, spending time together, fellowshipping and worshipping together, asking God to revive our hearts through the power and transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

 God was at work before, during and now, after the event.  There has always been an incredible urgency to share the Good News of

Jesus Christ.  This was an awakening to keep our steps on the path of the straight and narrow toward many coming to faith in Christ in the days ahead.

What an awesome day.  Regardless of the rain in the morning.  God brought the sunshine to remind us He is in control and nothing can seperate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
