March 30-June 15, 2008
What would the world look like to you if you saw no meaning or purpose to it all? What would it look like if you believed in God, but doubted his involvement in the world or concern for the people who live here? It would look a lot like the outlook of most people in your world today. And it would look a lot like the outlook of the author of Ecclesiastes.
From March 30 through June 15, we will be in a series of Sunday morning messages called Confessions of a Dangerous Mind based on a study of the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes. In it we will watch as a cynical man struggles with life’s meaning and purpose and we will look to the rest of the scripture to see what he missed seeing that could have given him what he was looking for. And in doing so, we’ll discover how to deal with our own struggles with doubts and pessimism. Don’t miss a single week and make sure you bring along a friend seeking answers to Confessions of a Dangerous Mind at BVBC this Spring!
