DNOW 2010 Theme: AWAKEN! (My Heart, Christ's Home)
JESUS LORD OF ALL (Ephesians 3:16-19)
What is Disciple Now?
Disciple Now is an in-home, host-home spring retreat weekend focused on evangelism and discipleship for middle and high school students grades 7-12. Over a dozen church-family members each host a grade-based, gender-based group of students in their homes beginning Friday night, Feb. 26 and ending back at BVBC Sunday, Feb. 28. The goal is to reach as many students for Christ as possible and get them connected into the church family to grow in their relationship with God. How do we do that? Students here at BVBC do an amazing job of stepping up and getting the word DNOW out to fellow students on their campuses. It's life changing, dynamic, and purposeful.
Attn: Students - If you bring 2 or more friends that are not aquainted with BVBC, the DNow cost for them will be $10 each.
Also... even if you register online, please remeber to download a medical release form, fill it out and turn it in to Bonnie Reimer.
How Can Parents Be Involved?
Pray. Serve. Be a part. Parents and adults of BVBC have an opportunity to serve on Lead Teams by providing food for each of the 12-15 host homes and/or helping to transport students to and from host homes for DNOW weekend.
Also, parents of middle and high school students will be able to attend DNOW sessions for Parents on Friday evening, Feb. 26 (7-9:30 pm) and/or Saturday morning, Feb. 27 (8:30-11:30 am). Parents, we need you, want you and invite you to be a part of the transforming work of Christ by being plugged in to the Student ministry.
