Discipleship Opportunities
Fall, 2011
In addition to our Sunday Morning Bible Study classes, we have several opportunities for you to get involved in a study or class.
Sunday Evenings
6:00-7:00 pm—In the months of September through December, members of the BVBC staff will lead a parenting study on the main campus in the fellowship hall. The focus will be The Me I Want To Be by John Ortberg. Books will be available for the duration of the study. Childcare is available for preschoolers, and children's choirs are available for those in grades 1-5.
Tuesday
9:00-11:15 am & 6:30-8:30 pm—Precept study: Kings & Prophets series #1: A Divided Heart-A Divided Nation. This co-ed study will cover 1 Kings 1-15 & 2 Chronicles 1-13. It is led by Candy Abernathy and is located on the main campus. The study begins September 13 and ends November 8. Childcare is available for the morning session. The cost for the workbook is $19. Wednesday
6:30-7:45 pm—Adult Bible study with Pastor Derrick located in the Annex. Cubbies and Awana are available for preschoolers and children.
Thursday
9:15-11:30 am—This book and video-driven Beth Moore study is led by Angie Wilkinson. The study will begin on September 8, and end on November 17. The study for the Fall will be Jesus the One and Only by Beth Moore. Childcare is available. Sign up by clicking here.
Various days, times, and places
Follow Groups - These small groups provide individuals the opportunity to go deeper in relationship with God and others. If you have interest in becoming part of an FG or establishing your own, please contact the church office at 897-9669, and ask for the office of the pastor.
