Ministry: City Union Mission
Location: Kansas City Metro Area
Contact: Jerry Mullen

City Union Mission is an evangelical Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children who are poor or homeless. They receive no government support or United Way funding and depend completely on donations from individuals, groups, businesses, foundations, and churches. Volunteers come to City Union Mission to join us in ministry to the poor or homeless. Volunteers who wish to work directly with clients must be prepared to share the Gospel message. Those who are not comfortable with this may be assigned to other essential tasks. There are several ways you can participate in volunteer service with City Union Mission:
• CORE Volunteer Program: A one-time or occasional volunteer opportunity.
• High-Impact Volunteer Program: A more specialized volunteer opportunity that is done on a recurring basis.
• Northland Circle of Friends: A Christian community group established to help City Union Mission complete various projects.
• Drive or Benefit: To secure food and material items to meet the needs of Kansas City's poor or homeless.
