Research shows that regular music study as a child brings a wealth of benefits later in life, especially in the realm of academics and learning.  That stated, combining the study of music with the spiritual development of children creates a very effective method of helping children grow stronger in a relationship to God.

Music Makers is our choir for children in grades 1 through 3.  Each week these children focus on learning basic musical skills such as note recognition, rhythmic values and pitch production all the while enjoying games, contests and stories.  Music Makers meets in rooms B103 and B105 each Sunday evening during the school year from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Young Musicians, for children in grades 4 through 6, continues a child's musical training as they branch out into learning more advanced songs, start the process of singing basic harmonies and produce a dramatic musical at least once each year.  Music isn't the only thing they'll learn, however.  Our leaders take great care to help these older children discover the spiritual truths contained in the songs they sing.  This process prepares the child to be a more effective worshipper as they learn to grasp and to express key truths about God and His word.  Young Musicians gathers each Sunday evening during the school year from 6:00 to 7:00 in room B128.
