Blue Valley Baptist Business Fellowship
Purpose
The purpose of Blue Valley Baptist Business Fellowship (BVBBF) is to provide personal encouragement, vocational development, and spiritual accountability for businessmen and businesswomen in the area. In so doing, it fulfills the concepts of Sustain, Share, and Shine for followers of Jesus.
The BVBBF meets every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 7:00-8:30 am.
Membership
The Blue Valley Baptist Business Fellowship is open to all businessmen and women who do the following:
1. Become due paying members ($35) after the second visit.
2. Attend 75% of the regularly scheduled meetings of the BVBBF, held the first and third Monday of every month.
Dues
The annual dues are $35 and cover the costs of BVBBF meetings, the production and upkeep of a BVBBF directory, and participation in a BVBBF Business Expo in the fall. Dues are submitted with a completed application for membership.
Typical Meeting Agenda:
7:00 – Coffee and Donuts (written prayer requests turned in)
7:10 – 60 sec. Infomercial
7:40 – Business Spotlight/ Testimony
7:50 – Network Nugget
7:55 – Devotion
8:05 – Written prayer requests shared with group
8:15 – Dismiss
Leadership
President – Jeff Herman
The president will organize and preside over the meetings. He will serve one year
Vice President – Erik Surgnier
The vice president organizes the greeters and the person doing the business spotlight/testimony for each meeting and presides over the meetings in the president’s absence.
Secretary – Kirk Chastain
The secretary takes attendance to each meeting and keeps track of dues and expenditures via reports from the church office. This person will also maintain an up to date membership database that includes contact information, send out a weekly email with prayer requests and reminders of the next meeting, and send out annual renewal notices.
